1. Information We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. We store this information to identify your account and personalize your experience. We also store the task data you create (task names, point values, completion status) and family configuration settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate the Service — specifically to authenticate you, display your personalized dashboard, save your task list, and determine whether your Morning Feed should be unlocked. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely in Supabase, a PostgreSQL-based cloud database. Authentication is managed through NextAuth.js with Google OAuth. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and server-side authentication tokens.

4. Children's Data

Kid Morning is designed as a parent-managed platform. We do not collect personal information directly from children. Parent accounts may enter child names and grade levels for family configuration purposes. This information is used solely to display within your family's private dashboard and is not shared with any third party.

5. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third-party services: Google OAuth (authentication), YouTube Data API (curated video content), Supabase (database and storage). Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing their use of data. YouTube videos displayed in the Morning Feed are subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Cookies and Sessions

We use session cookies to keep you signed in. These are strictly necessary for the Service to function. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies. You may clear cookies at any time through your browser settings, which will sign you out of the Service.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at privacy@div.digital and we will process your request within 30 days.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@div.digital. If you are located in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
